Alinghi wants next America's Cup in 2010

MADRID (AFP) - America's Cup champion Alinghi said Wednesday it hopes to organise the next edition in 2010 in the Spanish port of Valencia with a new and faster class of yachts.

Alinghi "is re-opening entries for a multi-challenger 33rd America's Cup from now until 15 December 2008 with the intention of having a match in 2010 in a new and modern class of race yacht" in Valencia.
blah blah blah
But I thought, they couldn't have the AC in 2010 because of the Soccer World Cup???
What is going on???

About Me
- Bridget Baker - Creator / Editor
- I was born and raised in Timaru, New Zealand then shifted to Auckland in 1998. We moved to Valencia in February 2005 for the 32nd America's Cup. I have two boys; Harrison who is 7 and Jack is 2 1/2 and was born in Valencia. My Husband Ian, is involved in the sailing world and is looking forward to competing in the 33rd America's Cup - if it ever happens! My previous employment has been; Receptionist for a Corporate Company, Retail Manager, and a Fitness Instructor. Just recently, I have put my love of photography into action and I am now offering my services as a Photographer (see above). I love to keep busy and organise different things so you will always see things pop up on the cronica for things to do!

You will then get 48 hours to go and pick up the paperwork from a police station of your pick. You might need to take someone who speaks Spanish with you to make it easier. And go just before Siesta!
You then have the police report if you need to make any claims.
