Hi my name is Richard Speer, I am a kiwi and I will be basing myself in Europe through November-February 2009. I will be spending time there visiting friends, doing some university study (Masters in Marketing) and training (road cyclist). I am a cyclist who races on the USA circuit and as such I will be training and building up for the 2009 season which starts in March. My girlfriend will be in London doing a Medicine surgery internship for January and February, I would stay with her but cycling in London is in-practical and the weather isn't too favourable at that time of the year for being outside!! Thus I am hoping to find a place possibly in Valencia to live and train in January and February 2009.

I will be in Valencia during December if you would like to meet me in person.

Is this worth getting excited about... I don't think so

This was in the latest www.valencialife.net online newspaper. I am sorry, but after 1 year of maybe's, I am personally not sure if I want to get excited about this. As much as I hope the America's Cup mess will be finally sorted out... So many of us have got on with our lives (as much as possible), sick of waiting for a positive outcome, I am not holding my breath... But of course, I hope I am wrong.

After more than a year of litigation in the New York courts, it has now been revealed that Larry Ellison, the head of the BMW ORacle Syndicate is to meet this week in California with Ernesto Bertarelli, the head of the Alinghi syndicate to try and bury the hatchet and end their legal dispute. It was Mr Bertarelli last week who gave the talks a chance when he stated Larry and I are much closer in our thinking than the media believe. If the talks work out satisfactorily, the competition could be back on the waters off Valencia in a matter of months, with the aim of celebrating the first races in 2009 using the Version five craft that were used in the Americas Cup 2007, with 90-ft craft being used in 2010 and a year later for the championship

Due to families going home I now have spaces available on Monday, Wednesday and/or Friday morning from 10.00-12.00.

If you have a child of the age of 1-year or older and think they would enjoy playing with friends and getting messy then give me a call.

Some of our regular activities include painting, gluing, sticking, colouring, dancing and singing, reading stories, playing in the sandpit, playing in water, making and playing with play dough and generally having lots of fun. (Activities depend on age and ability of children)

We will be doing a brand new collection. The Giraffe. I know that we will have a great time with it this quarter.

POWER WALKS - TUESDAY'S at 3pm!

Hey there!

I am starting the Power Walks again and you should definitely try and fit it into your Tuesday!

Reasons...
* It is FREE - I lead the class out of the goodness of my heart
* Walking is the best exercise for you
* You may meet someone new
* It works off all those Mojito's, summer cerveza's y vinos!

What I do...
First we start off in the park opposite the 3 torres
We head up the park on the right hand side for about 30 minutes then turn around and finish where we started
It is about 5km and takes around 50min - 1 hour
I then go through about 10 minutes of strengthening exercises for you Ab's, arms, buttocks and legs (summer ain't over yet!)
Finish with a good stretch
Then we head to the Rose Garden Cafe for a drink

No excuse - babies in buggies more than welcome - C u there!

Manuel Cervera, the Health Conseller has revealed that there are currently 29 people affected by Hepatitis A in the Valencian Autonomy.
